We found the absolute perfect venue for our wedding at Houston Hall. The team was so incredibly easy to work with. Carlita and Isabel are a dream team, and helped make our special day the best day of our lives. The venue itself was stunning. There was very little we needed to add to make it wedding day ready. The location was perfect. The food was delicious- our guests are still talking about the fried chicken. As I write this, my mouth is watering… truly we feel so grateful to have found Houston Hall. If we were to do it all again, we would not hesitate to do it at Houston Hall.

From the moment we toured Houston Hall to the end of our wedding night, Carlita, Isabel, and the entire Houston Hall team were an absolute dream to work with. They strike the perfect balance between being incredibly organized and wonderfully calming. Their expertise and attention to detail are unmatched, and they know exactly how to transform this historic space into the wedding venue of any couple’s dreams. The team is responsive, creative, and genuinely fun to work with. They are so much more than day-of coordinators—they become true partners throughout the wedding planning process, offering guidance and support every step of the way. The Space: Absolutely gorgeous. Houston Hall somehow manages to feel rustic and urban, cool and warm, spacious and intimate all at once. It was breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The Food: Outstanding. From the tasting to the wedding day itself, every bite was delicious. The menu is unique, memorable, and genuinely excellent—not just “good wedding food.” The Wedding Day: Perfect. No notes. I truly cannot recommend Houston Hall highly enough. It’s an iconic venue, and our entire wedding weekend was shaped around this choice. Looking back, I am beyond thrilled that we chose Houston Hall and would make the same decision again in a heartbeat.

We got married June 2025 and have nothing but the most wonderful things to say about Houston Hall. Get married there!!! We had 150 folks comfortably, and did the ceremony and reception all under the same roof. Carlita and her team helped make the space uniquely ours, working alongside us every step of the way, recommending set up, working through menu and a timeline for the day. All was seamless. Our hope was to transform the space into a sort of secret garden in the city and throw a big party, and it exceeded our expectations. I can’t tell you how beautiful the room was, how cozy and intimate it felt. And the food was delicious, served family style. If you’re looking for an upscale restaurant-style cozy wedding with space for a killer dance party, this is your venue. With 150 people for seated dinner and dancefloor, we still had space for an espresso bar, little couch lounge area and a photo booth. For the ceremony, we had 100 people seated and the rest stood. It was perfect, we felt the love. I remember being particularly worried about the flipping of the room/chairs at the start of the cocktail hour and I can assure you, it was easy and not at all disruptive – no more than 5 minutes and no one even noticed as they were getting drinks at the stunning huge bar and tasting passed apps and chatting. We also had musicians play just during cocktail hour which fit in the space as well! I also have to shoutout Chris and his team at Party Up Productions/Decco for the chairs, lighting, lanterns and furniture. They regularly work with Houston Hall and were a joy to work with to transform the room. Also noting we didn’t use a wedding planner, no need with Carlita and her team, which was wildly helpful with budget. I’ve shared all our vendor info below. Happy to answer any questions!! I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Houston Hall. Carlita and Isabel made sure our entire wedding day went flawlessly. From the start, Carlita worked closely with us during the tasting to ensure all our guests’ dietary needs were accommodated. With several family members living with celiac disease, including my dad, this was incredibly important to us, and she handled it with so much care and attention. The food and drinks were outstanding. We chose a few specialty cocktails that were a huge hit, and our guests raved about the food. At most weddings, the food is forgettable, but Houston Hall completely exceeded our expectations, everything was truly delicious. Beyond that, Carlita and Isabel made the planning process so seamless and stress-free. They ensured we had everything we needed, coordinated with all of our vendors, kept the schedule perfectly on track, and made my wedding day feel effortless. I knew everything was being expertly handled and that we were in the best hands. The venue is such a unique and amazing place, and everyone felt so welcomed. Additionally, they provided a list of vendors they work with regularly, which was phenomenal. They went above and beyond in every way and delivered the most perfect day. I am endlessly grateful and couldn’t recommend Houston Hall more highly.

Isabel was also exceptionally caring and accommodating throughout the entire process. It was an absolute joy to work with both Carlita and Isabel – they were engaged and always accommodating whenever we had a request or a question. It felt like working with friends! The entire staff was proficient, courteous, and helpful. The bartender service was masterful, and the food was presented promptly and in an orderly fashion. Houston Hall did an amazing job for our wedding. The space is amazing, but the service and food really made the venue stand out. The staff does a great job flipping the one big room from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. We loved the family-style dinner, and after guests kept asking who the caterer was because they could not believe a beer hall could have such great food, but they really do! Carlita was great to work with leading up to the wedding and worked well with our month-of coordinator to make sure everything went off without a hitch.

When we were discussing wedding advice we would give to other couples, the biggest thing tip we had was “just have your wedding at Houston hall.” Houston hall provides truly everything that we would have forgotten: Table runners, votive candles, table numbers, menus, benches, silver service, and more. No tacked on cake-cutting fee, no crazy last minute charges. Carlita was absolutely amazing and attended to so many extra details that we would never have thought of (she added a box for cards since we didn’t have one, made sure that our arrival plans worked and suggested ways to make sure we could both be there without seeing each other, coordinated a delayed pick up of our left over wedding cake, and so much more).
